〜中世の剣術を現代に蘇らせたヒストリカルなスポーツ〜

 

６月１７日（日）、キャッスル・ティンタジェル恒例、ライトバトルトーナメント「ブレード・オブ・ザ・ドラゴン」を開催いたします！

ライトバトルとは、中世のバトルテクニックを使用したスポーツ（Medieval Battle Sports）のうち、ロングソード（両手剣）やソード＆シールド（片手剣＋盾）、ポールアーム（槍または鉾槍）を使い、鎧を着けずに戦う剣術スタイルです。

２５ｋｇから３０ｋｇもの鎧を着て戦うアーマードバトルに比べ、平服を想定したフェンシングジャケットはわずか２～４ｋｇ。その分、スピードは上がり、肘や手首のしなやかさを生かした繊細なテクニックも数多く登場します。

ライトバトルトーナメントは、すべてデュエル（決闘）形式、すなわち１対１で行います。
鎧を脱ぎ捨てた騎士たちの、華麗な剣技の数々をぜひお楽しみください！

以下に装備と参加資格に関する注意事項があります。最後までお読みの上、ルールを守ってご参加ください。

〈装備について〉

試合用の武器は、シンセティックソードとソフトポールアームのみです。
防具については、下記のギアをすべて装備してください。
　・マスク（マスクバックがついているもの）
　・股間カップ／レディースガード（服の下につけること）
　・フェンシングジャケットまたは同等の防御ができるボディ用の防具
　・肘パッドおよび膝パッド
　・グローブ
　・ゴルジェ

〈注意事項〉

・金属製の防具（金属製の甲冑）は推奨していません。シンセティック剣を破損する可能性があると判断された場合、使用を禁止することがあります。
・レンタル装備の数は限られるため、共有してお使いいただく可能性があります。
・股間カップ／レディースガードについては、必ずご自身のものをご用意ください。

〈参加資格〉

①ティンタジェル会員（MBSランキングを持つ全ての会員）
②特別参加選手（メインマーシャルによって出場許可された選手）

■今大会の試合は、アドバンスベーシックルールが適用されるため、初心者は事前にインストラクターの出場許可が必要となります。特別参加選手、ライトバトルフェンサーランク１、および騎士道ノービス会員は、下記手続きをお取りください。

1）事前にインストラクターの許可を得る。
（許可が下りなくても、ウォームアップスパーには参加できます）
2）午前１１時からの参加資格ミーティングに出席する。
（ミーティング後、メインマーシャルが参加の最終認定をします）

〈その他〉

試合はすべて、アシスト付きのセルフジャッジで行います。

17:30 グランドチャンピオンズトーナメント：各トーナメントの勝者同士による戦い
試合形式はラインオブデス（総当たり戦）で、勝ち点の合計が最も多かった選手が優勝者となります。
・ラウンド１：片手剣と盾
・ラウンド２：片手剣とバックラー
・ラウンド３：ポールアーム
・ラウンド４：ロングソード

注1 :アドバンスベーシックルール……ウエスト位置より上へのキックおよび安全基準に即した投げ技が許可されます。パンチは禁止。ただし、顔面への軽いポンメルストライクとシールドパンチ（いずれもマスクが動く程度の強さ）は許可され、１ポイントとなります。

注2：アシスト付きセルフジャッジ……基本的に、自分が受けた攻撃は自己申告しなければなりません。ただし、判定が不明瞭なケースや、申告もれの攻撃についてはマーシャルが判定を下します。

注3：試合の内容は、予告なく変更になることがあります。予めご了承ください。

Equipment: Synthetic swords  and padded polearms only.

Safety Equipment:

Mask (with back)
Groin protector (hidden)
Torso protection
Knee and Elbow Protection
Hand Protection
Gorget
Note:

1. Metal protection (metal armor) is discouraged and may be disallowed if judged to be too damaging to the synthetic weapons.
2. There is a limited amount of loaner equipment. You may have to share.
3. Please bring your _own_ groin protection.

 

Qualifications to Participate:

Tintagel Members (all grades, depending on tournament). As the rules are Advanced Fencing rules, Rank 1 Light Battle Fencers or Novice Kishido students must:
1) Get instructor permission
2) Attend the 11am qualification meeting, after which the main Marshal will certify their permission to participate.
3) Novices can participate in the touranment with teacher permission.
But they will have to be willing to fight advanced rules. We have a sparring time between games.
Any novice can do a sparring at that time.  Branch members are also very welcome!

●Special Guests must also attend the 11 am qualification meeting. (must be examined for martial to determine sufficient skills. No beginners)

5:30 Grand Champions Tournament: Winners of Previous Tournaments Fight Each other.The Fighter with the most wins will be Tournament Champion.
The fight will be “Line of Death” style. In each fighter’s turn the victoreis will be counted, Victory will be determined by total number of victory points.
・Round 1: Sword and Shield
・Round 2: Sword and Buckler
・Round 3: Polearm
・Round 4: Longsword

6:00 Closing Ceremony.

※Note:

1. Tournament is held with Assisted Self-Judging rule: This means that the fighters are expected to call attacks against them.
2. Rules are Advanced rules: kicks to the body above the waist and controlled throws are allowed.
