中世のソーイングサークルへようこそ。 皆さんそれぞれがプロジェクトに取り組んでいることと思いますが、やはり一緒に仕事をする方が楽しいですね。 皆さんのアイデアや、本、生地、そしてプロジェクトをティンタジェルの中世のソーイングクラスに持ってきてください。 お馴染みの方に再びお会いできたら嬉しいです。そして新しい方の参加も楽しみにお待ちしています！

 

今年は4月以降、コロナの影響でこれまで開催できませんでしたが、この度 ソーイングクラスを再開する運びとなりました。

中世に思いを馳せながら、貴方だけのオリジナル中世衣装を作ってみませんか？
貴方の作りたい中世衣装はどんな服でしょう？

ロミオとジュリエットのジュリエットのようなイタリアンドレス？
それとも、庶民的な娘の衣装？　あるいはバイキング衣装でしょうか？

ティンタジェルのソーイングクラス でしたら、どの衣装でも作ることができますよ。
作り方は講師が指導しますので、西洋の中世衣装を作ったことのない方もご心配なく。
中世衣装に興味のあるかた、お気軽にお問合せください。

■コロナ感染予防対策のお願い

① 受付前に手洗いをお願いいたします。
②レッスン中はマスクの着用をお願いします。
③教室はティンタジェル別館２Fで行います。参考：下記写真
受講者の間隔を開けて裁縫用テーブルをご用意いたします。

 

■持ち物：衣装の生地、裁縫道具。
推奨生地素材：リネン、リネン/コットンブレンド、ウール、ウールブレンド、コットン、コットン＆ポリエステル（少ない％でしたらOK）ブレンド

■初心者の方のために
布の選び方、デザイン方法、カットや縫い方についてもお話しいたします。
服装スタイルについて話し合ったり、写真を見たりしながら、作品決をめていきます。

※中世衣装製作が初めての方、作る衣装が決まっていない方は、講師が衣装の写真や本をお見せしながら、衣装の説明、アドバイスいたしますので初回は生地はご用意いただかないで結構です。もし作りたい衣装の写真や参考資料がありましたらご持参ください。
作る衣装が決まりましたら生地をご用意いただく流れになります。

■すぐに作品を制作されたい場合は、リネン、ウール、コットンまたはこれに類する重量感と肌触りの布を3メートル（男性服）または4m~6m（女性服）ご用意ください。布は事前に予備洗浄しておいてください。

Message From Teacher:

Welcome back to the medieval sewing circle. I hope everyone has been working on projects, but it is more fun to work together. Please bring your ideas, your books, your fabric and your projects to Tintagel’s medieval sewing circle. I look forward to seeing old faces and will welcome new ones.

To anyone interested in the construction of medieval and/or Renaissance clothing. Castle Tintagel will be holding our first clothing discussion/workshop.

Goal: Research, plan-out and begin clothing construction. If you already know what you want, bring ideas and pictures. If not, there will be lots of books and advice available.

Bring: If you want to actually begin a project, you will need 3 meters or so (men) or 4-6 meters (women) of plain cloth (pre-washed) of linen, wool, cotton or something of similar weight and feel. Some sewing equipment will be on site, but you may, of course, bring your own.

Material: Linen, linen/cotton blend, wool or wool blend, cotton, cotton/polyester blend with a low % of polyester. Ideally, fabric should have a little weight, but not be stiff.

For new people:
Discussion we will talk about how to chose fabric, how to design and how to cut and sew, so if you just want to discuss clothing styles and look at pictures and maybe get ideas for a future project, you are also welcome.
