当初、5/24日に開催を予定しておりましたブレード・オブ・ザ・ドラゴン2020ですが
新型コロナウイルス感染症拡大の影響を鑑み、参加者および関係者の皆さまの健康・安全面を第一に考慮した結果
当イベントの開催を延期することにいたしました

催しを楽しみにしていただいておりました皆さまに、深くお詫びを申し上げます
延期後の開催日は現在未定です

〜HEMA中世の剣術を現代に蘇らせたヒストリカルなスポーツ〜

ライトバトルとは、中世のバトルテクニックを使用したスポーツ（Medieval Battle Sports）のうち、ロングソード（両手剣）やソード＆シールド（片手剣＋盾）、ポールアーム（槍または鉾槍）を使い、鎧を着けずに戦う剣術スタイルです。

２５ｋｇから３０ｋｇもの鎧を着て戦うアーマードバトルに比べ、平服を想定したフェンシングジャケットはわずか２～４ｋｇ。その分、スピードは上がり、肘や手首のしなやかさを生かした繊細なテクニックも数多く登場します。
ライトバトルトーナメントは、すべてデュエル（決闘）形式、すなわち１対１で行います。鎧を脱ぎ捨てた騎士たちの、華麗な剣技の数々をぜひお楽しみください！

＜装備＞
剣：シンセティックソードとソフトポールアームのみ。
安全装備：
マスク（マスクバック付き）
股間カップカップ（必ず服の下につけること。）
胴の防護服
膝と肘の防具
手の防具
ゴルジェ

＜注意＞
 ① 金属製の防護具（金属製の甲冑）は 使用しないようお願いします。
　  シンセティックソードを痛めると判断された場合、許可されません。
② レンタル装備の数は限られていますので、共有して使用ください。
③ 股間カップは必ずご用意ください。レンタルはありません

 

＜参加資格>＞

ティンタジェル会員（MBSランキング参加の全ての会員）。
ルールはアドバンスルールで行います。そのため、ライトバトルフェンサーランク1、または騎士道ノービスの会員は、次のことが参加条件となります。
1）事前にヘッドマーシャル（ジェイノイズ）の許可を得てください。
　 支部のノービス会員は支部のインストラクターの推薦を受ける必要がありますので、インストラクターにまずは相ください。
2）当日の午前11時に参加資格審査を行いますので、必ず出席してください。そこでメインマーシャルが最終的な決定をいたします。
特別ゲスト枠の選手も、午前11時の参加資格審査に参加する必要があります（十分なスキルを判断するため。初心者は参加不可）。

＜ルール＞
試合は全てセルフジャッジ（アシスト付き）で、アドバンスベーシックルールによる決闘方式で行われます。

■試合は「ライン・オブ・デス」形式の総当たり戦
自分の番での勝利のみがポイントとなり、最多ポイント獲得選手がトーナメントチャンピオンとなります。相打ちの場合は両選手ともにマイナスポイントにカウントされます。

（説明）
1)アシスト付きセルフジャッジとは
　選手自らが、相手からの攻撃を判定（ジャッジ）しコールする判定方法。
2) ルール：アドバンスルール
　腰より上へのキックや、コントロールされた投技は用いることができます。 パンチは許されていませんが、顔面への軽いポンメルストライクまたは軽いシールドパンチ（マスクを動かすのに十分な強度）は認められ、1ポイントとなります。

Equipment: Synthetic swords  and padded polearms only.

1.  Metal protection (metal armor) is strongly discouraged and may be disallowed if judged to be too damaging to the synthetic weapons.
2. There is a limited amount of loaner equipment. You may have to share. 
3. Please bring your _own_ groin protection.

12:30 Warm up sparring: Sword and Shield
1:00 Tournament: Sword and Large Shield – assisted self-judging, Advanced Basic Fencing Rules

1:45 Warm Up Sparring: Sword and Buckler. 
2:15 Tournament: Sword and Buckler  – assisted self-judging, Advanced Basic Fencing Rules
3:00 Warm Up Sparring: Pole Arm – (limited to scholars and advanced scholars only)
3:30 Tournament: Pole Arm – assisted self-judging, Advanced Basic Fencing Rules

4:15 Warm Up Sparring: Longsword
4:45 Tournament: Longsword – assisted self-judging, Advanced Basic Fencing Rules
5:30 Grand Champions Tournament: Winners of Previous Tournaments Fight Each other.The Fighter with the most wins will be Tournament Champion. – assisted self-judging, Advanced Basic Fencing Rules
The fight will be “Line of Death” style. In each fighter’s turn the victories will be counted, Victory will be determined by the total number of victory points. Double Kills will count as negative points _against_ both participants.

※Note:

1. Assisted Self-Judging: This means that the fighters are expected to call attacks against them.
2. Rules are Advanced rules: kicks to the body above the waist and controlled throws are allowed. Punches are not allowed, but light pommel strikes or shield punches (just strong enough to move the mask) are allowed to the face for 1 point.

 

Qualifications to Participate:

Tintagel Members (all grades, depending on tournament). As the rules are Advanced Fencing rules, Rank 1 Light Battle Fencers or Novice Kishido students must:
1) Get permission in advance from head Marshal (Jay). For Branch class Novice members, they will need to talk to their instructor (Felix) and get a recommendation from him.

2) Attend the 11am qualification meeting, after which the main Marshal will certify their permission to participate.

Special Guests must also attend the 11 am qualification meeting. (must be examined for martial to determine sufficient skills. No beginners)
