Rental Information The Castle Tintagel facilities are available for rent for such activities as private parties, classes, lectures, photo shoots, and sports events. 1) Basic Rental System 1F and 2F (10am to 10pm): 30,000 yen/2 hour block Rental assumes the following: a) Tintagel will be closed to outside visitors for the duration of the rental time. b) Tintagel staff may be present. Both the Cafe and the Store will be open for business for the duration of the rental time. c) Guests may provide food, but all drinks must be purchased from the cafe, unless special arrangments are made. d) On this plan, Tintagel cannot be rented by the separate floor or in blocks of less than 2 hours. 2) Alternate system for special classes, lectures, and parties. Castle Tintagel likes to support history, fantasy, and costume themed events. However, sometimes the organizers aren't sure if they can get together enough people to support a new event. Castle Tintagel wants to encourage such activities by charging a per person fee collected at the door instead of flat rent, thus reducing the risk to organizers of such activities. The price for this system is per attendee per 2 hours of planned event. If your event can accommodate maximum of 20-29 attendees: 2000 yen per attendee If your party can accommodate of 30-39 attendees: 1500 yen per attendee If your party can accommodate more than 40 attendees: 1000 yen per attendee Guests who would like to use this system must do the following: a) Your event must be particularly well suited to the Castle Tintagel theme and receive specific approval from Tintagel management. b) Your event or project must be open to the public. c) You must submit a proposed schedule of activities at least two months in advance. d) You must submit promotional materials at least 6 weeks in advance.
